Day 01- Arrival Bangalore
|
|
Arrive Bangalore India’s sixth largest city, known as the “Garden City” , where
you are greeted with a traditional Indian welcome on arrival at the airport and
escorted to the hotel. After check in at hotel our representative will explain
you the travel plan and hand over the essential travel documents to you.

Day 02: Bangalore
|
|
Morning visit Lalbagh. Spread over 240 acres of flowering glory, Lal Bagh has
rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical trees, plants and herbs. Tippu's
Summer Palace. It is one of several beautiful palaces they built all over the
state. Tipu Sultan used it as his summer residence and named it Tashk-e-Jannat
meaning the envy of heaven. Vidhan Soudh-The granite building towering over
Cubbon park houses the Secretariat and the Legislative Assembly. Built in a
Neo-Dravidian style, this is one of India's most magnificent public buildings.
Bull Temple -a typical example of the Dravidian-style temple. Usoor Lake - it
was a place of prominence in the early years of last century. Extended over an
area of 125 acres, the lake was constructed in the 2nd century by Kempe Gowda
II.

Day 03: Bangalore –Sravanbelgola - Mysore ( 140Kms)
|
|
Morning drive to Mysore visiting en route Sravanbelgola which is said to be the
world's tallest monolithic statue raises 17 meter high of Bahubali
(Gomateshvara).The statue was built in 981 AD and is most sacred to the Jain
Community. On arrival check in at hotel. In the afternoon visit KRS Dam and the
ornamental Brindavan Gardens.
The musical fountains and colourful lights transform
this place into a fairly land in the evenings. Evening transfer to hotel.

Day 04: Mysore – Ooty (150Kms) |
Morning visit most famous for the imposing Royal Palace with a magnificent
Durbar Hall, particularly splendid during the Dussehra Festival when the
Maharaja's jewelry, studded gold throne (weighing 200 kgs) is on display.
Chamundeshwari temple perched on a hilltop is 2000 years old, Nandi Bull half
way to the hill is a 4.8 meter monolith.
Later drive to Ooty. On arrival check in at hotel.

Day 05: Ooty |
Morning drive to Agra on the way visit Fatehpur Sikri. (Ghost Capital), the
political capital of India's Mughal Empire under Akbar's reign, from the year
1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water.
Further drive to Agra. On arrival check in at hotel. After wash & change
at hotel visit great Red fort of Agra. The elegant buildings inside reflect an
interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. Evening
free. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06 : Ooty – Coonoor (By Toy Train)- Kodaikanal (220Kms) |
|
Morning board on toy train to Coonoor. The track is 46 kilometers (28.5 miles)
long, and passes over 26 viaducts, and through 16 tunnels and tall girder
bridges. This railway is particularly picturesque because of the surrounding
rocky terrain, tea plantations, and forested hills.
On arrival drive to Kodaikanal.

Day 07: Kodaikanal |
Here You will see the splendors of mother nature as closely as anyone can.
Unfold the mesmerizing beauty of Kodaikanal with a leisurely walk to places like
star shaped lake and Fairy Falls that add something special to the already
ravishing beauty of this heavenly destination.
Solar Observatory, It is one of the three solar observatories in the world that
were built more than 75 years ago. View Points, Kodaikanal is famous for the
most scintillating viewpoints from where you get the most panoramic glances of
the entire Kodaikanal hill station. The best viewpoints here are Green Valley
view point, Pillar Rocks, and the Dolphin's Nose. Rest of day free. Overnight at
hotel.

Day 08:Kodaikanal – Periyar National park (148Kms)
|
Morning drive to Thekkady ( Periyar wild life sanctuary). Periyar, spread over
an area of 777 sq km, has about 35 tigers and leopards. The park encompasses a
26 sq km artificial lake and is the home of sambars, wild boars, elephants and
antelopes which can be occasionally seen on the banks of the river during a boat
cruise. Periyar, otherwise, blessed by Nature has enormous tea, coffee, pepper
and cardamom plantations and is lush green. In the afternoon we shall take a
boat cruise on Lake Periyar to view wildlife.

Day 09: Periyar –Munnar (100Kms) |
Morning drive to Munnar. Munnar - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace
and tranquility - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. On
arrival, check in at hotel. Later visit Tea Museum, Collection of old bits and
pieces from the colonial era can be seen here. Devikulam is 7 Km away. Tourists
are attracted to this lake town. Mattupetty is 14 Km away from Munnar.
Mattupetty dam has an agriculture garden on its banks. Speed boat ride through
the dam is also available.

Day 10: Munnar – Alleppey ( Overnight at Houseboat) |
Morning drive to Alleppey and embark on deluxe Houseboat “Kettuvalam" for
backwater cruise. These magnificent vessels are a modified form of our
traditional ‘Kettuvallom’ which has been in use for hundreds of years. Sail
along the winding network of Kerala backwaters, see the unique water world and
experience its myriad charms. Spot colorful insects and butterflies flitting
over flower bunch that adorn the lush green vegetation on the banks of the
Kerala backwaters.
CCruise through the unique web of lakes, lagoons, canals and rivers. Enjoy an
overnight leisure stay in a houseboat also enjoy lavish lunch & Dinner at
Houseboat.

Day 11: Alleppey – Kovalam Beach (170kms) |
Morning disembark from houseboat to Alleppey boat jetty. Later drive to Kovalam
beach. The Kovalam beach in Kerala offers the best of facilities to its visitors
like sunbathing, swimming, Ayurvedic massages and plenty of other options. Day
relax on beach. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Kovalam –Cochin (215kms) |
Morning drive to Cochin. On arrival check in at hotel. In the afternoon visit
Fort Cochin. The true character of the city is to be found in the older parts of
the Fort Cochin area. This part of the city reflects an unusual blend of
medieval Portugal, Dutch and English country life grafted on to the tropical
Malabar Coast Also visit Chinese Fishing nets .Evening show witness the
Kathakali Dance Show in an auditorium. as it enacts episodes from great Indian
epics. The extremely stylized gestures, the elaborate make-up, the masks and the
splendid costumes of these all-male dancers, recreates an incomparable sense of
pageantry.

Day 14: Cochin – Bangalore ( By Flight ) |
Morning guided city tour of Cochin. Visit the 16th century Mattancherry Palace,
also known as the Dutch Palace. We would visit 'Jew Town', in the Mattancherry
section.The area around the Synagogue, known, as Jew Town is one of the main
centres of spice trade. St. Francis Church, and Jewish Synagogue.

Later transfer to airport to board on flight to Bangalore. On arrival connect
International flight for onward destination.
