Day 01: Arrival Mumbai |
|
Arrive Mumbai, 'Commercial Capital' of India, where you are greeted with a
traditional Indian welcome on arrival at the airport and escorted to the hotel.
After check in at hotel our representative will explain you the travel plan and
hand over the essential travel documents to you. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Mumbai
|
|
Morning visit Gateway of India & Elephanta caves by cruise. Located about 10
Kms. from the Gateway of India or 9 nautical miles into the sea. Later visit
Prince on Wales Museum- The museum was set up in the beginning of the 20th
century to honor the visit of King George V's to India, while he was still the
Prince of Wales. Mani Bhawan- Mani Bhavan is a veritable memoir of Mahatma
Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. Also known as Gandhi Museum, Mani Bhavan
served as the residence of the great freedom fighter of India between 1917 and
1934. Dhobi Ghat- Dhobi Ghat is among the exciting places to see in Mumbai. It
is 136-year old Dhobi Ghat and may be called the biggest human powered washing
machine. Evening free. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Mumbai – Udaipur (By Flight) |
|
Morning transfer to airport to board on flight to Udaipur. On arrival transfer
to hotel. In the afternoon visit City Palace. City Palace - Udaipur's
fascinating City Palace is the largest royal complex in Rajasthan with a
wonderful view of the lake and the city.

Sahelion Ki Bari - The "garden of the maids of honour", Sahelion-ki-Bari was
designed and laid out early in the eighteenth century as a retreat for ladies of
the royal household to spend their time in leisure. Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandir -
Is home to an attractive collection of folk dresses, puppets, ornaments, folk
musical instruments and paintings. The museum is the best place for those
interested in puppetry. Evening free. One can enjoy boat ride at lake Pichola
(Optional). Overnight at hotel.

Day 04: Udaipur – Jaipur (400Kms) |
Morning drive to Jaipur, The “Pink city”. Jaipur is the capital of the Indian
state of Rajasthan, famous for forts, palaces, lakes, sand and colorful culture.
On arrival check in at hotel. Evening at leisure to explore the colorful markets
of the pink city. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur
|
Morning start guided city tour of Jaipur. Start with Amber Fort. Here you will
enjoy an Elephant ride to reach the Fort situated on the hill, an overwhelming
experience. Later visit, the City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal
architecture. Further visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory), an astronomical
treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date. You
will also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied

|
|
structure of pink sandstone. It was built in the year 1799 so that veiled royal
women could peer down the busy street market unseen by the world through its 593
stone Jharokas (mini windows). Overnight at hotel. |

Day 06: Jaipur –Fatehpur Sikri – Agra (235kms) |

Morning drive to Agra on the way visit Fatehpur Sikri. (Ghost Capital), the
political capital of India's Mughal Empire under Akbar's reign, from the year
1571 until 1585, when it was abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water.

Further drive to Agra. On arrival check in at hotel. After wash & change at
hotel visit great Red fort of Agra. The elegant buildings inside reflect an
interesting synthesis of Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. Evening
free. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 07: Agra – Jhansi (By Train ) – Orchha – Khajuraho (165kms)
|
Morning during the sunrise time visit Monument of Love Taj Mahal, The Mughal
emperor Shah Jahan built this lovely dream in white marble as a tomb for his
wife Mumtaz Mahal, later he was also buried alongside his wife in the same tomb.
It took 20,000 workers to complete this monument in a period of 22 years.

Later we will drop you at Jhansi railway station to board on train to Jhansi. On
arrival our representative will meet you at railway station and take you to
Khjauraho on the way you will visit Orchha. Orchha is known for is resplendent
rural attractions. Situated on the banks of River Betwa, visit Temples & Forts.
Continue drive to Khajuraho. Evening watch light and sound show at
temple.(Optional). Overnight at hotel.

Day 08: Khajuraho – Varanasi (By Flight) |
Khajuraho is a fascinating village with a quaint rural ambience and a rich
cultural heritage. The monuments of Khajuraho, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site
are extremely controversial yet showcase exceptions artwork and craftsmanship.
Morning visit western & eastern group of temples.

Later transfer to airport to board on flight to Varanasi. Varanasi - situated on
the banks of the sacred Ganges, Varanasi has been a center of pilgrimage and
learning for over 2000 years and is considered to be one of the oldest surviving
cities in the world.

On arrival, meeting assistance by our representative and transfer to hotel.
Evening one can see AARTI – Worship
|
of the river goddess with incense, camphor, flowers and earthen lamps. Thousands
of illuminated lamps are immersed in the waters of the holy Ganges and the
floating lamps add a divine look to the river at dusk. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 09: Varanasi
|
|
The early morning enjoy boat ride on the river Ganges. The boat ride takes you
past the various ghats of Varanasi, offering a glimpse of the city at its
religious best, with the men getting ready for their daily prayer, the sages
lost in prayer and ritual. Afterwads return to hotel for breakfast. |
After breakfast visit temples & Banaras University ( Kashi Hindu University)
also excursion to Sarnath. Lord Buddha preached his first Sermon and which thus
making it one of the four holiest places to the Buddhist world. Evening return
to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10: Varanasi – Delhi (By Flight) |
|
Morning free. In the afternoon drop you at Varanasi airport to board on flight
to Delhi. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Delhi
|
|
Morning start full day city tour. Start from Old Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat which is
Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial, followed by photo stop at Red Fort. Red Fort, built
in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the largest Mosque of
India. Here you will enjoy Enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride. The pleasure associated
with the rickshaw ride here is ultimate. The rickshaw pullers here take you on a
ride through various routes, offering you a different experience all together.

In the afternoon you will visit New Delhi. Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu
Temple, The impressive Qutub Minar, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199 from sandstone and marble, Humayun's Tomb,
memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The complex is a
World Heritage Site & the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in
India. India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and drive past the President's House,
Parliament House and Connaught Place shopping centre. Overnight at Hotel. |

Day 12: Delhi – Mumbai ( By Flight) |
|
Morning transfer to airport to board on flight to Mumbai. On arrival board on
International flight for onward destination.
