Day 01 - Arrive Bangalore
|
|
Arrive Bangalore ,the garden city, where you are greeted with a traditional
Indian welcome on arrival at the airport and escorted to the hotel. After check
in at hotel our representative will explain you the travel plan and hand over
the essential travel documents to you. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 - Bangalore - Mysore (135Kms)
|
|
Morning start guided city tour. Visit Tipu Sultan Palace, the layout of the
palace gives the idea of the ethnic Mughal lifestyle. The fort & its remains
present the history of the era in which it was built. it is now a museum. The
majestic Vidhana Soudha, a magnificent post-independence structure housing the
State legislature & Secretariat, stands in the center of the city with its
attractive dome & galleries ISKCON Temple, harmonious blend of the Dravidian &
modern architecture. The building has some of the modern facilities along with
Vedic preaching library.
Next we visit the Lal Bagh Garden, name Lal Bagh has been given to it for the
wonderfully bloomed red roses that remain blooming all through the year. Haider
Ali started building this garden in 1760 Later drive to Mysore, capital city of
the Wodeyars kingdom. On arrival check in at hotel. |

Day 03 - Mysore – Dubare Elephant Camp (85Kms) |
|
Today we take a tour of Mysore, You will visit the Srirangapatnam, the historic
capital of Tipu Sultan known for his struggle against British rule. Several
monuments relating to his rule are sprinkled across the island. Later we visit
Darya Daulat, commonly known as Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan is situated amidst
scenic surroundings on an island formed by two branches of the River Cauvery. We
also visit Maharaja Palace, designed by British architect Henry Irwin, the Amba
Villas Palace as it is also known, was completed in 1912. Chamundi Hill, which
is topped with a 12th century temple of Durga with the magnificent 5m tall
Nandi, Carved from single piece of granite in 1659, its one of largest in India.
Later drive to Dubare Elephant camp. On arrival check in at Camp. Overnight at
hotel.

Day 04: Dubare Elephant Camp - Nagarhole National park |
One can reach camp by crossing the river by boat. This is mainly an
elephant-capturing and training camp of the Forest Department. Nearly 150
elephants are trained in various camps. The Elephants tamed here, attend various
jobs during the day and at night they come down to the river to bathe and to be
scrubbed clean by their mahouts.
The tourists and lovers of wildlife spend hours in the Dubare Elephant Camp
observing the habits of elephants and participating in the daily activities of
these animals, such as feeding and bathing.
Later drive to Nagrhole Park. On arrival check in at Jungle resort.
Overnight at Resort.

Day 05 - Nagarhole National Park
|
Nagarhole National Park , famous for the tawny, black-striped Royal Bengal
Tiger, elusive & stealthy, noble & regal. Established in the year 1955 as a
wildlife sanctuary, The park today stretches in a series of gentle hills &
valleys, north of the river Kabini. It has all the resident wildlife of the
Nilgiri hills: Nilgiri Tahr, Nilgiri Langur, bison, leopard, Asian elephant,
wild boar, deer, dhole (wild dog) & porcupine, besides tigers. Early morning
wildlife tours & bird screening in the park or a Coracle ride on the Kabini
River are the engagements. Enjoy an evening jeep ride or an Elephant ride Into
the Nagarhole jungle. Overnight at Resort. |

Day 06 - Nagarhole National Park –Ooty (65Kms) |
Today we drive to Ooty (Udagamandalam), Queen of hill stations & the capital of
Nilgiri district. Nilgiri means Blue Mountains. It is a land of picturesque
picnic spots. It was a very popular summer & weekend getaway for the Britishers
during the colonial days. An added attraction for the tourists is the mountain
train journey( Toy Train) on a ratchet & pinion track which commences from
Kallar, near Mettupalayam & wends its way through many hair-raising curves &
fearful tunnels & chugs along beside deep ravines full of verdant vegetation,
gurgling streams & tea gardens.

Day 07 - Ooty - Munnar - Eravikulam National Park (350Kms)
|
Today we drive to Munnar, located at the confluence of the mountain streams
Muthirappuzha, Chanduvarai & Kundala. It is surrounded by wild Jungle, it is wet
& cold for most of the season. During the British rule of India, it was
developed to cultivate tea plants.
A picture book town, winding lanes, trekking & holiday facilities make Munnar a
unique experience.

Day 08 - Munnar
|
Today we take a tour visiting the tea estate spread like a green carpet over a
large area. The rolling hills, the lush mountain & the breathtaking scenery here
is ideal for trekking & long mountain walks.
Later we visit Eravikulam National Park, set up for the preservation of the
endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Park has the largest known population of Tahr existing
in the world & also shelters Atlas Moth, Elephants, Sambhars, Gaurs, Lion-tailed
Macaque, Nilgiri, Langur, Tiger & Leopard. It exhibits the breathtaking natural
splendor of rolling grasslands & exotic flowers. Anamudi, the highest peak south
of Himalayas, towers over the pride of the sanctuary. (Closed - January &
February). Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 - Munnar – Periyar (160Kms)
|
Morning drive to Thekkady ( Periyar wild life sanctuary). Periyar, spread over
an area of 777 sq km, has about 35 tigers and leopards. The park encompasses a
26 sq km artificial lake and is the home of sambars, wild boars, elephants and
antelopes which can be occasionally seen on the banks of the river during a boat
cruise. In the afternoon we shall take a boat cruise on Lake Periyar to view
wildlife. Evening free. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 10- Periyar – Kumarakom (135Kms)
|
Morning drive to Kumarakom, a cluster of little islands, on the Vembanad Lake in
Kerala. Kuttanad, the 'Wonder Land' believed to have been lying below the sea
level, sprang out into the marshes when the sea receded later. The land of
lakes, canals & paddy fields, Kumarakom transports you to sheer ecstasy.
Holiday on the houseboats, traditional Kettuvallam, are an out-of-this-world
experience at Kumarakom. In the afternoon visit we visit Kumarakom Bird
sanctuary. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 - Kumarakom – Alleppey (Overnight Houseboat)
|
Morning drive to Alleppey. On arrival board on Housebaot “Kettuvallam” - famous
houseboat of Kerala.These magnificent vessels are a modified form of our
traditional ‘Kettuvallom’ which has been in use for hundreds of years. Sail
along the winding network of Kerala backwaters, see the unique water world and
experience its myriad charms. Spot colorful insects and butterflies flitting
over flower bunch that adorn the lush green vegetation on the banks of the
Kerala backwaters.
Cruise through the unique web of lakes, lagoons, canals and rivers. Enjoy an
overnight leisure stay in a houseboat also enjoy lavish lunch & Dinner at
Houseboat.

Day 12: Alleppey – Kovalam Beach (170kms) |
Morning disembark from houseboat to Alleppey boat jetty. Later drive to Kovalam
beach. The Kovalam beach in Kerala offers the best of facilities to its visitors
like sunbathing, swimming, Ayurvedic massages and plenty of other options. Day
relax on beach. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13: Kovalam –Cochin (215kms) |
Morning drive to Cochin. On arrival check in at hotel. . Evening show witness
the Kathakali Dance Show in an auditorium. as it enacts episodes from great
Indian epics. The extremely stylized gestures, the elaborate make-up, the masks
and the splendid costumes of these all-male dancers, recreates an incomparable
sense of pageantry. Overnight at hotel. |

Day 14 : Cochin – Bangalore ( By Flight) |
Morning visit Fort Cochin. The true character of the city is to be found in the
older parts of the Fort Cochin area. This part of the city reflects an unusual
blend of medieval Portugal, Dutch and English country life grafted on to the
tropical Malabar Coast Also visit Chinese Fishing nets.These nets popularly
known as Cheenavala is one of the unique features of the city.
Visit the 16th century Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace. We
would visit 'Jew Town', in the Mattancherry section.The area around the
Synagogue, known, as Jew Town is one of the main centres of spice trade. St.
Francis Church, and Jewish Synagogue. |
