Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

Welcome to Delhi! Upon your afternoon/evening arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport, you’ll be greeted with a traditional garland welcome by our airport representative. After check-in, you’ll be given a detailed overview of your travel plan. The evening is at leisure for you to relax or explore. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 02: Wednesday: Explore New Delhi & Departure

Breakfast at the hotel.

Begin your exploration of New Delhi

    • Raj Ghat: Pay homage at the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. • Red Fort (from outside): Marvel at this symbol of Mughal grandeur. • India Gate: A tribute to Indian soldiers who lost their lives in WWI. • Jama Masjid: Explore India’s largest mosque and experience a cycle rickshaw ride through the bustling Chandni Chowk market. • Qutub Minar: Visit one of the world’s tallest brick minarets, a UNESCO World Heritage site. • President’s House: Admire the blend of Mughal and European architecture. • Lotus Temple: This iconic marble structure is shaped like a lotus (closed Mondays). Overnight stay in Delhi.

Afternoon: Transfer to Safdarjung Railway Station at 4:30 PM for the Palace on Wheels train tour. Receive a traditional welcome, complete check-in formalities, and be escorted to your cabin by a personal attendant. Enjoy a complimentary drink at the Bar Lounge before the train departs at 6:30 PM.

Dinner served onboard.

Day 03: Thursday: Jaipur - The Pink City

• Morning: Arrive at Jaipur Railway Station and receive a royal welcome by elephants. Explore Jaipur:

  • St. Albert Museum, Pink City Palace, and Jantar Mantar: Visit these iconic sites.
  • Hawa Mahal: Photo stop at the Palace of Winds.
  • Amber Fort: Enjoy a ride on festively decorated elephants and explore the beautiful 16th-century fort.

Lunch at 1135 AD Boutique Restaurant within the fort complex. After lunch, enjoy time for shopping before returning to the train by 6:00 PM.

Day 04: Friday: Ranthambore National Park

  • Early Morning : 6:30 AM jungle safari from Sawai Madhopur Railway Station to Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, home to tigers, panthers, sloth bears, and more.
  • Return to the train by 9:30 AM.

Breakfast and lunch onboard.

Day 05: Saturday: Chittorgarh Fort

  • Afternoon: Arrive at Chittorgarh at 4:00 PM. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Chittorgarh Fort, the largest fort in India.
  • Evening: Enjoy a Sound & Light show in the fort complex.

Return to the train for dinner before departing after midnight.

Day 06: Sunday: Udaipur - The City of Lakes

  • Morning : Arrive in Udaipur by 8:00 AM. After breakfast, visit the City Palace complex and Crystal Gallery.
  • Boat Ride : Enjoy a scenic boat ride around the Lake Palace Hotel on Lake Pichola.
  • Lunch at Fatehprakash Palace Hotel. Visit the Royal Gardens at Saheliyon Ki Bari and enjoy free time for shopping. Return to the train by 3:00 PM

Day 07: Monday: Jaisalmer - Oasis in the Desert

  • Morning : After breakfast, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Jaisalmer Fort. Explore the Patwon ki Haveli and Jain Temples.
  • Lunch : at a 5-star hotel.
  • Afternoon : Visit Sam Sand Dunes for a camel ride and sunset photo opportunities.

Enjoy a cultural program and dinner at a 5-star hotel before returning to the train by 10:00 PM.

Day 08: Tuesday: Jodhpur - The Heart of Marwar

  • Morning: Arrive in Jodhpur at 8:00 AM.
  • Visit the Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada, along with the museum at Umaid Bhawan Palace.
  • Lunch at Hanwant Mahal Boutique Restaurant.

Return to the train and depart by 3:30 PM.

Day 09: Wednesday: Bharatpur - Bird Sanctuary

  • Early Morning: At 6:30 AM, visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride to observe over 375 species of birds.

Return to the train for breakfast and depart by 8:45 AM.

Day 10: Thursday: Agra - The City of the Taj Mahal

  • Morning: Arrive in Agra at 10:30 AM.
  • Visit Agra Fort, followed by lunch at ITC Mughal Hotel.
  • Highlight: Visit the iconic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
  • Enjoy free time for shopping before returning to the train for dinner.

Day 11: Friday: Return to Delhi

  • Morning: Arrive at Safdarjung Railway Station in New Delhi by 5:30 AM.
  • Check out after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
