Yoga refers to traditional Physical, mental and spiritual disciplines,
originating in India , whose goal is the attainment of a state of perfect
spiritual insight and tranquillity.
The Sanskrit word Yoga has many meanings, and is derived from the Sanskrit
root "yuj," meaning "to control," "to yoke" or "to unite." Translations include
"joining," "uniting," "union," "conjunction," and "means. Someone who practices
yoga or follows the yoga philosophy with a high level of commitment is called a
Yogi or Yogini.
Meditation refers to any of a family of practices in which the practitioner
trains his or her mind or self-induces a mode of consciousness in order to
realize some benefit. |

Day 01: Arrival Delhi |
|
Arrive New Delhi, India’s Capital, where you are greeted with a traditional
Indian welcome on arrival at the airport and escorted to the hotel. After check
in at hotel our representative will explain you the travel plan and hand over
the essential travel documents to you. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi |
|
Morning start fuMorning start full day city tour. Start from Old Delhi. Visit
Raj Ghat which is Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial, followed by photo stop at Red Fort.
Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid, one of the
largest Mosque of India. Here you will enjoy enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride. The
pleasure associated with the rickshaw ride here is ultimate. The rickshaw
pullers take you on a ride through various routes, offering you a different
experience all together. In the afternoon you will visit New Delhi.
Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu Temple, The impressive Qutub Minar, listed
as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199 from
sandstone and marble, Humayun's Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built
in the year 1562. The complex is a World Heritage Site & the first example of
this type of Mughal architecture in India. India Gate (War Memorial Arch) and
drive past the President's House, Parliament House and Connaught

Day 03 - Delhi –Haridwar (By Train) – Rishikesh (20Kms) |
|
Morning transfer to railway station to board on train to Haridwar. On arrival at
transfer to Rishikesh. After a welcome drink and acclimatization briefing about
the whole program, followed by introduction to the Yoga teacher. In the
evening visit Har ki Pauri.This wonderful riverside bank was constructed by King
Vikramaditya in memory of his brother Bhartrihari. It is said that all the sins
that a mortal commits are washed out by bathing at this river-bank. Later return
to Rishikesh. On arrival check in at Ashram. Overnight in Ashram. |

Day 04 - Rishikesh
|
|
Parmarth Niketan offers comfort, inspiration and upliftment for your body, mind
and spirit as well as a deeper connection with the Divine.
You can join daily activities in Ashram. The daily activities at Ashram
include morning universal prayers, satsang and lecture programs, kirtan, and
world renowned Ganga Aarti at sunset. General yoga asana and meditation classes
are offered Monday to Friday. These classes are open to all on a donation basis.
Nature Cure and Ayurvedic treatment are also available on the premises. In
addition, there are frequent special cultural and spiritual programs given by
visiting revered saints, acclaimed musicians, spiritual and social leaders and
others. All visitors are welcome to participate in our daily activities.

Early morning drive or walk to the yoga centre for yoga class followed by
relaxation of body and mind. After relaxation learn about breath awareness

traditional meditation class with visiting instructor. Overnight at Ashram. |

Day 05- Rishikesh |
|
Early morning drive or walk to the centre .Today we will do relaxation, asana,
followed up by yognindra. After nutritious breakfast, day free for own
activities. Optional you can take rafting trip or can do temple tour for half a
day. Evening followed by modern meditation. and class of suggestion therapy.

Day 06 - Rishikesh
|
|
Today we'll get training for PRANAVAM (advance breathing), dynamic yoga, advance
yoga postures. After breakfast drive up to Vashistha Gufa. The entire drive is
along the river Ganges towards the source for about an hour. Arrive and explore
Vashistha Gufa (cave), where famous saint Vasistha, meditated. A perfect place
for transcendental meditation. Late afternoon drive back to resort. In the
evening attend meditation and yoga lecture. Overnight at Ashram. |

Day 07 - Rishikesh
|
|
Early morning wake up for Pranayam and advance technique of Yoga. Evening
followed by meditation and curative yoga. You can take optional trip to
Devprayag, one of the five most important confluences of Garhwal Himalayas.
Arrive and explore the area. Also visit 10th century old temple of Ragunath ji.

Day 08 - Rishikesh
|
|
Early morning breakfast followed up by VIPASANA class. Evening curative Yoga and
meditation class. Overnight at Ashram. |

Day 09 - Rishikesh - Delhi
|
|
Early morning practice advance posture of yoga and Vipasna. Day free for
personal activities. Evening transfer to the railway station to board train for
Delhi. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10- Delhi –Sikandra - Agra ( 200kms)
|
|
Morning drive to Agra. On the way you will visit Sikandra. Mughal ruler Akbar's
tomb. On arrival check in at hotel.
After wash & change at hotel guided sightseeing tour of Agra city. Start
with the Monument of Love Taj Mahal, The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built this
lovely dream in white marble as a tomb for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, later he was
also buried alongside his wife in the same tomb. It took 20,000 workers to
complete this monument in a period of 22 years. Later visit Great Red Fort of
Agra. Evening free. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11- Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (235kms) |
|
Morning drive to Jaipur on the way visit Fatehpur Sikri. (Ghost Capital), the
political capital of India's Mughal
|

|
|
Empire under Akbar's reign, from the year 1571 until 1585, when it was
abandoned, ostensibly due to lack of water.
Further drive to Jaipur, The “Pink city”. Jaipur is the capital of the
Indian state of Rajasthan, famous for forts, palaces, lakes, sand and colorful
culture. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of day free. Overnight at Hotel. |

Day 12 - Jaipur
|
|
Morning start guided sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Start with Amber Fort. Here you
will enjoy an Elephant ride to reach the Fort situated on the hill, an
overwhelming experience. Later we visit the City Palace, a perfect blend of
Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. Further we visit Jantar Mantar (Solar
Observatory), an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give
accurate predictions till date. We also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a
five-storied structure of pink sandstone. he evening is at leisure to explore
the colorful markets of the pink city.Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 : Jaipur / Delhi (265kms /5-6hrs) |
|
Morning drive to Delhi. On arrival drop you at New Delhi International airport
to take your flight for onward destination.
